1.new to program
Posted by sconnet on 6/2/2005 12:09:59 AM
Hi. just starting the BFL program. This is week 1. I write software for a living so I sit all day long. And I write software for a hobby so I go home and sit all night long. I am 34 and getting married in five months. My fiance and I would like to feel better about ourselves going into the marriage.

I am 5'10" (178 cm). I am 267 lbs (121 kg) and have 45% BF, according to my Tanita scale. Unreal, I know. This isn't the adult life I imagined I'd be living when I was a kid. ...

I've been putting a container of Crystal Lite in a gallon of water and taking it to work. I probably drink close to a gallon of water throughout the day.

Any idea how many calories this is adding to my diet? Is Crystal lite okay to put in water, since water is so bland?

I've been posting my eating for the day into fitday.com and just want to run it by everyone to make sure I'm eating properly. Seems like too much fat and not enough carbs?

In my above post, which food in particular has too much fat?

Muscles are sore. If I lift 10 reps and the 10th one is at failure. There's no way I can lift another set of 10, let alone 2 more sets.

Is crystal lite okay to drink?

No I haven't tried the free trial of BFL coach. Meals today were (still haven' t had dinner yet but am not hungry):

was curious about muscle soreness. I muscles are sore. It's hard to button my pants, or even get out of bed. Well maybe not that bad, but I am sore. From what I understand, in order for the muscles to grow you must rip and tear and challenge them during lifting. So it sounds as if they are going to be sore for a few days afterward everytime I lift?

Today was my first free day. Jeez, I totally overdid it I think. I ate a whole large 14" pizza. I can't believe it. I think I'd have to jog across country to burn those calories. d*mn it!
