Day -2 (negative two). That is, I begin in two days. I'm looking forward to feeling great! I have to wait until Sunday to begin exercising because I don't have a moment to spare until then. I'd really like to start off with a long run AND a yoga class. That would beat the sh!t out of my sluggishness.
So, why do I want to do the challenge? The thing is, I like the way I look (I could lose maybe 10 pounds so that my clothes fit better) but I want to improve my overall health and I want to have the strength and stamina and flexiblity to play sports this summer. Plus I like the feeling of taking care of myself. I want to be balanced - I mean, I will definitely be up for pizza and a drink on my free days! But, I also want to feel like I'm fueling my body well.
So my plan today is to make a grocery list of few things to buy tomorrow.
