Re: How to fit in workouts with a hectic schedule? 8/11/2008 10:47:50 AM   (Total replies: 0)
i love ur phillosephy. ive always stood by that 8 hour thing. 8 hours sleep is a must ( i think its crazy that some people sleep for 4 hours and sometimes dont even sleep at all), 8 hours work is perfect (i cant understand how some people work for 16 hours (do that and were does your life go), 8 hours fee times is a must (life is about earning a living but also about living life). i work out first thing int he mroning cos then its done and dusted and its like a weight off my shoulders cos ...

Re: Alternative to Myoplex 8/11/2008 10:40:07 AM   (Total replies: 0)
well myplex contains carbs and protien so my advise is blend a banana (banana is over 20g carbs) with a 100% whey protein shake. be careful not to buy any old cheap whey protein though cos there is a lot of cr@p on the market. the deal for eas whey is the best ive ever seen, $20 for 30 servs is unbeleivable especially when eas stuff is quality stuff as apposed to some micky mouse stuff

Re: Thermobol 8/11/2008 10:37:16 AM   (Total replies: 0)
yes thermbol is great. im not a fan of fat burning pills cos the fact is that loads of companies sell dodgy stuff that isnt any good for you . but maximuscle is different. their stuff is top quality and most importantly safe. professional athletes such as rugby players (gavin henson is one) use maximuscle stuff so you can rely the fact that its safe. the ingredients is thermbol are all natural and it works, its great. i did feel very shakey for the first few days but after that it passed ...

Re: weights then eating? 8/11/2008 10:27:04 AM   (Total replies: 0)
ive read the book from back to front several times and ive never heard it mention that you should wait 3 hours after eating before performing your weights session. what i have heard it say though is that if you do cardio in the evening, instead of the morning, then you should wait 3 hours after eating before you start cardio. ive been advised by so many different ''experts'' that if you do your weights in the evening then eat 60-90 mins before it to fuel your workout. i used to do it in ...

Re: weight 8/11/2008 10:19:48 AM   (Total replies: 0)
you are supposed to increase the wieght every single week without fail. every session would be best but its ok to use the same weight for 2 sessions as long as you get a weekly increase. i'd dont use the same weight more than 2 sessions. i lift a certain weight and i can tell wether or not ill be able to increase it for the next session. if not i keep the same weight and for the next session but make sure that i increase it after that. if youve had the same weight for 2 sessions and you ...

Re: What weight to start at? 8/11/2008 10:08:50 AM   (Total replies: 0)
its personal to you and it also varies from exercise to exercise. id never lifted before until body for life. when i started i found that the highest amount i could lift on squats was 40kg and the highest i could lift for shoulder press was just 4kg. so its a big difference for some exercises. also another person may find that they could squat 30kg or even 50kg compared to my 40kg, its personal to them. i just got myself some adjustable dumbells and lots of different plates e.g 05kg ...

of course they are clean. on the body of works dvd bill used a lie detector on all of the finalists. there was a problem with 3 of them and bill took this very seriously and was considering throwing them all out. there blood tests were fine so he kept them in the competition. 12 weeks is sufficient. try it and see

Re: Question on number of sets 8/11/2008 9:52:11 AM   (Total replies: 0)
you do 5 sets on one exercise and then you do 1 set on a different exercise for the same muscle group. e.g you do 5 sets on bench press (chest) and 1 set of flys (chest). so thats 6 sets for one muscle group (chest). then you move onto your next muscle group. what it means by ''complete this 5 times for upper body and four times for lower body '' is that you work 5 muscle groups for the upper body (chest, back, shoulder, tricep, biceps) therefore you repeat the 6 set thingy pattern 5 times. ...
