Quickly assemble your Workout Plan by choosing your exercises and letting BFL Coach bring in all the details from the last time you did that exercise.  If there are no changes just Generate your Progress Report, Print and Go.  No need to re-enter the same information over and over again, or to search through binders for the weights you used last time.

UpperBody and LowerBody weight training pages use this layout.  You will come here to plan your workouts and enter your results.   Performance-based planning is encouraged with easy access to your historical data.  Printable Progress Reports are easily created from here (see point 6 below).  The system automatically saves the Actuals data you enter here for the Performance Graphs.

The mini-graphs allow you to see your past performance at a glance.  Changing the Sets 1-5 exercise immediately brings in the corresponding mini-graph.  Clicking the graph opens a printable Popup Graph.  The Choose Graph dropdown box below the graph brings in other helpful mini-graphs.  The graph shown brings back your last 8 HighPoints for the exercise.  You can expand the date range on the Graphs Tab.   

Easily enter your own exercises.  Click on the Add Now arrow to immediately add your new exercise to the dropdown boxes (you can add 4 per Muscle Group).  Change the name of the exercise anytime and click on Add Now to update it in the dropdowns and graphs immediately.  Click on the Find links to get ideas for additional exercises using the Body-for-LIFE exercise animations. 
Changing the Muscle Group automatically re-populates the other Dropdowns with the appropriate exercises (including your Custom Exercises for that Muscle Group).  At the same time it brings in all the data for the last exercise you did for that Muscle Group.  Changing the exercise brings in all the data for the last time you did that exercise, no matter how long ago it was.  No more flipping thru binders to recall the weights you used last time!
In the gym you only have to record values that turn out different from your plan, since when you return here to enter your results you will be able to click on the Copy Plan to Actuals link as a starting point.  If you work your plan exactly there will be no need to manually change or enter any numbers before saving your results. 

Preparing your next Workout Plan is also possible without manually changing or entering any numbers.  If the next exercise you choose has prior Actuals use them as reference to modify your already existing Plan from last time (if necessary), then click on Clear Actuals to create the space on your printout to enter values in the gym. 

There is never a need to enter the same numbers over and over again, just print your Plan and go!  This is a great timesaver over excel or paper based systems. 

The most important thing to remember in the workout header section is the Date.  Entering the Date ensures the system saves things correctly for the graphs, although if you do forget the system will remind you!  As with all dates in the system you click on the Calendar icon to popup a calendar to choose the date.   
Clicking on the Generate Progress Report (Saves) link saves any outstanding changes and opens a Daily Progress Report containing all the latest data you have entered on this page.
